Took some time to edit the armor in sketches and figure out some of the armor detailing. Trying to keep up with the kraken god theme.

Some progress on the armor design. I'm digging the vibe. I do have the shield blocked out too but I want to make a bunch of changes to it overall to match the kneepads and elbowpads. I'm liking how this is turning out.

Tossed some quick colours just to read the forms a bit more. Still have a LOT of colour choices that I want to explore. I'm happy with how this character is coming along.

A close up of the shoulderpad.

I wasn't feeling the tail and some others have mentioned to me the same thing so I am going with a different idea that I had with these tentacle skirt things that help her swim underwater. Trying out this vibe and gives more reason to her hips being bare.

And here's a look at the shield which I will edit to match the look of the armor more.

Thanks @Flix_Stephan! I definitely wanted to do some thing different than the typical "sexy slim" look. Definitely trying to make her seem tough/butch but cool. Hope that is getting across.

Spent some time today on some small details. Lost some information but still made progress. Cleaned up the leg armor shapes and some on the shoulderpads. Felt the lower body was lacking something so I threw in another of the kraken heads and some tentacles curling out for decoration. How does it look?

Took some time as a break after my wrist got a mild sprain (slept on it funny). So a bit behind schedule.

But starting to Retopo so I can UV unwrap and texture. Keep rocking it everyone!

We shall see where I am at when the contest is over. I just missed out on over a week due to work, sprained wrist, and a cold, hitting me back to back. Just finished retopo on the base body. I will continue, regardless, to finish modeling her out though. Here are some screenshots from Maya.

Good luck to everyone who are able to finish in time. Life got in the way for now. I'll still be finishing this character though, but at least I can now pace myself some.
