@Sergei_Pakhomov Thanks :smile:
@cedricgo Thank you! I've come up with a couple additions (some doodling at work), really excited to get them modelled

Using the emblem as a base for the design, I created multiple shapes to begin exploring tattoo ideas. I really like the angular forms especially contrasted against the vines. Some are a little too intense, so far my preferred is the final one to the right.

Any suggestions are always welcome!

I hope to get a final design finished in the next couple days; with back, arm and leg tattoos done as well.

The script to the right is taken from Zelda: breath of the wild.

Agreed. That last one looks the best to me as well.

I'm not sure the back needs anything. It may end up looking too busy with the bones and vines attached. Maybe just carry the stripes on her side all the way around?

Keep it up!

Thanks for the feedback, I love the stripes idea! I definitely needed to address the business as a whole. So I simplified the design using the Zelda script as inspiration, keeping the hexagon as the foundation. I think I'm going to keep some of the more prominent features I like but simplify it a little more.

Oh Lol. IM TRYING TO CREATE AN EARTH ELEMENTAL CHARACTER AS WELL. I NAMED HIM GEB - GAIA'S SOLDIER.HAHAHA WHICH MEANS MY CHARACTER WILL BE YOUR CHARACTER'S SOLDIER.
BTW. I LIKE THE SCULPTURE

I just noticed now but as long as the arrows aren´t energy from where does she get the arrows?

I'm currently deciding how they're going to work. With the glowing tattoos and glowing arrows it would be a little overwhelming. I've got a couple of ideas (been at work so I've just got a bunch of doodles), I may have a quiver but I'm leaning towards a 'Saint Sebastian' feel where the arrows are made within the leg vines. I may have some glowing symbols or cracks going through the arrow/bow. I've got this evening and tomorrow off so I'm going to see how the block out look.

Do you think the glowing arrows are good or too much?

Well, right now the colors are too confusing, the blue doesn´t fit at all, I would stay in a color scheme more like this : )

Or go for something more simple like this:

PS: I would make the hair softer, with more volume to it without negative space.

Cheers! <3

   Love the edit!! Great reference too!

You're right about the colour scheme, definitely needs some work. I hadn't considered green I like it a lot  Thanks for the feedback!

I still like the blue, but the green does look pretty dope! :yum:

So I've been on a little grind with the little time between work! I've refined the tattoo design further by mirroring the patterns on the arms to the legs, so the whole design feels more uniform.

I've spent some time thinking about the bow and arrows, I've been working through different iterations and currently working on the final version. I'm sticking to a simpler design since there's enough going on in the model already, I aim to finish it the next day I have off!

Finally, I've been progressing with the model as a whole, adding vine hooves, refining the skull, hair (@wienkind the hair looks a lot better now, thanks for the suggestion!) as well as starting the base and adding some trinkets!

9 days later

I finally had the 3/4 days off work so the grind is on. I've had to learn the very basics of some programs that are new to me (Substance, UVlayout, Marmoset). I've still been working away, definitely underestimated UVS :joy:

But here are some elements I've been working on, but I want to leave some stuff for the final reveal!

Final tattoos! super happy with the outcome (all done in zbrush)

Vine bunnies have been an element that I wanted to incorporate since the very beginning!

I've been thinking of the final composition for the image. My thoughts are a tree top setting looking down, with a strong vertigo prospective.

I've finished High res model, almost finished preparing all my UVS (I definitely need to learn this properly) for substances. I intend of doing very simple textures, and maybe some polypainting since that's more comfortable for me.

Final test render before the submission, got a couple more things to do but I think I'll be finished on time
