Here is the first sculpt I did from him.
Now that i have the basic shape of the body, i am going to start searching for some references, poses and create the armour, lance and shield concept.

First pass of the armor
Today update, I continued with the armor, my intention is to end with the armor sculpt this weekend and start with the retopology to start creating the UVs for the texturing and normal map. Once I end up with that i will start with the concept for the shield and the lance.
Base sculpt done! I will be doing the retopology during this week and will start with the lance and shield concepts. I think that the armor need some detail that will make it obvious that he is from the earth faction.

Body topology done, time to start with the armor.
Body topology done, I did some minor changes and I may add a cape, i feel like he characters feel empty in details. (I didnt did the retopology for the eyes, hair and eyebrowns cause they will go attached to the head)
I also did the Lance and Shield concept ( i really love the monster hunter universe so i based on it for those concepts)
During this week I´ve been doing the uvs and start texturing it. This is how it´s going so far.
I did some changes in the armor and the skin, and continued texturing the other parts of the character. I would like to finish as soon as possible with this and start with the shield and lance sculpt.
Lance done! Much easier than I expected, time to start with the shield. I end up changing the final lance to look more like a lance, in the concept I did previously it looked more like a heavy sword.
Really close to call this done! I am going to see if I am able to improve the final render, and maybe add some little details. But I think this is the farthest I can go this time
Hey! I am calling this one finished. It´s been my very first challenge and I have a lot of fun, I discoverd amazing artist and learned a lot of from them. Waiting for the next one!
