3. Further Concept Exploration with Posing

I tried several poses for her, standing beside him, jumping off him, and I think I like the "sitting on top of him" the most. I really had to do some posing because it helps me a lot to know the end result and the feel I finally want to present.

As next step I need to figure out whether or not I want to start with the posed model right away or go back to the unposed model. Honestly, I always prefer, the going right into it approach (posing the model right at the start) - we´ll see

BTW at this point I am not quite sure if he is a dragon or dinosaur haha

4. Some small improvements

So, some things I want to point out:

She will be short haired, I tried long hair but it wouldn´t be useful while fighting. For him I decided to keep the reptile/lizard design from before, it´s more aerodynamic and aesthetical. Both will be represented in their design language very raw, almost barbarian. They need to emit strength and confidence.

PS: I also think that I should gave her rather a spear, it´s more logical to fight with something like that when you are sitting quite high on a dinosaur/dragon.

Unbelievable! Actually the monster is so amazing that it could be the main character.

Of course, good decision about the short hair, really if it is not impossible to fight effectively. With the same reasoning I could wear appropriate armor.
And no doubt the spear is going to be cool, I really want to see how the project evolves.

7. Still figuring things out

little things I did:
- enlarged her blade
- decreased her overall size (because he needs to look really big!)
- improved Kylios design (changes proportions + more aggressive mouth and hands)

10. No Risk no Fun - Change of Plans!

So, I actually really really struggled with the dragon and quite honestly I didn´t even know if I could finish the whole piece on time, but I will possibly create this duo in the near future as I still think it´s going to be an epic sculpture!

That being said, today I started with something new! I am still keeping the name "Kylios" as I really like it and the fraction being earth

Let me introduce to you... Kylios, the Earthbound, a very skilled earth tribe shaman. I feel quite reliefed and will try make him as epic as possible. Lots of poses are coming to my mind!
