Back to the drawing board:
Ive decided to scrap my original idea because the puzzle pieces were not connecting in my head.

My new concept: "Majesty of Petals"
I wanted to incorporate my love for fashion and I have a good story in my mind already that I am working on.
Majesty is an earth mimicry who masters the art of agrokinesis. She doesn't have a face so her face is depicted by a mask. Her Staff is the source for most of her great power, more specifically the gem inside.

I'm going for something very regal and ovah.
ovah slang meaning: fabulous, beautiful; over the top
I took inspiration from Guo Pei couture and renaissance fashion and I want to create a plant-based look with other elements like metals and rocks to create embellishments and accessories. I got some sewing refs as well to get an idea of how to make the clothes.

The style I am going for is motherly yet menacing, not too sharp not too soft. I will next combine these into 4, more rendered thumbnails. tell me what you think. I will develop side characters "minions" for the background in the future.

I added 5 thumbnails. For A (Based of J), she has those 2 leaves on her shoulder and the idea behind that is she can use her power to manipulate them into wings.
For D and E (Based off E) I added butterfly wing shapes.
With E. the dress is cover in flowers and layered with petals.
I create petal/leaf shapes with some of the crowns and neckpieces.
For the next phase of design, I want to get 2 designs.

hmm,
I wanted to drop in some resources that might help spark some more influence and direction your way and to encourage "out side of the box", thinking. I know it might be a bunch of links but they would help me out so i wanted to share with you how i would tackle these things if it were my design. You have some good works on the portfolio, lucky for you, we all are still at the start.

Sculpting clothing
Staff designs that look interesting that i think you should try to incorporate into your vision somehow:
Hair: - Hair 2
Dress designing - (the one i use to learn, on the side.) easy approachable.
