First bit of reference gathering and brainstorming. Already got a whole idea for backstory now just need to lock down the specifics and start doing some quick crappy sketches!

Finally got a chance to sit down and really start plucking away on the concepting. This phase of the design process is always one of my favorite parts. Getting into the nitty-gritty of finding specific reference and trying to tie design elements with reference is always a fun challenge.
I should be able to get some basic blockouts of the pose and assets in the next week. Loving all the work I've seen so far from everyone!

Despite some computer problems, I've gotten a good base on the blockout. General design and coloring are figured out and I was happy to get a chance to block out the Turntable for the submission. Hoping to add more of an ancient Encyclopedia aesthetic to it in Marmoset. Nothing in this post is final but the overall idea is getting there!
