old sketch

I've been real busy this whole war just battling with work and personal stuff but I wanted to participate!
I will post my sketches and I'm almost finished so I'll post progress.

this was what i was trying the day before,

then I had a change of heart, as I often do and switched up the pose of the character!

here's the lines for the final comp, I went through a bunch

one last upload before I can't really work on this for another week hope I make it in time to make the concept page and final illustration!

I finally had some time to work again and made a concept sheet for Mustafa!
I also added a bit of more design elements on him after working on this sheet a bit more,
it was a bit difficult to make a square composition work displaying the character but hoping i did an okay job at it!
I also added a single arm armor using shapes form Turkish architecture and symbols I think it compliments him well and looks cool. Lastly I added a bit of text for those that like to read a bit about some of the lore I built up for Mustafa Baba and his weapons, surrounded it with some decorative borders.
Now until the last day I will update the illustration lets go!

I am adding the new design elements on the character and polishing it further, added skyline of Istanbul and some storm clouds and a large full moon with a huge crater in the back, the crater gives the moon a crescent vibe!
I think I can finish this tomorrow!

It took me such a long time to finalize this render I ended up having to pull an all-nighter guys but had a lot of fun bring this thing to my utmost limits.

I was having trouble uploading things, thankfully it uploaded! awesome challenge guys I learned a ton and had a lot of fun.

having a ton of issues trying to "Submit Entry", it seems to be getting stuck on the cropping on the image, been trying for a while now

Looks like I'm going to be unable to submit my entry Been trying for half an hour. ah well, still a lot of fun and learned a lot.

Apparently due to issues with the ‘submit entry’ button, they’ll be checking all posts as long as they were on time

As mentionned above, there won't be issues if you didn't get to use the submit button. Judges will be going through all topics, so no entry will be overlooked.

With that said, nice work! Your character design is really awesome and so is your illustration )
