Representing Canada, this is going to be interesting, to say the least...

Some potential ideas and reference.

A bit of progress today, playing around with different poses, and overall shape. Some props too, deciding on what kinds of weapons to give this guy and just generally seeing where it'll take me!

Great expressions  I prefer the look of the top left corner one. Do you have already an idea how to incorporate the canadian theme? 😊

Some of the apparel and armour will certainly have the maple leaf motif in them! As for other icons and patterns it's a little hard to say.

Aside from the cultural histories of the First Nations, since it's so young, Canada doesn't have much to its name that hasn't been stereotyped to death. Maybe crossed hockey sticks...

Will probably lean toward more of the top left too, playing around with a more dynamic pose doesn't seem to be working out all that well, despite the really cool neck of the goose.

That should be awesome, haha! I look forward to see more.

Little more progress today, think I got a pose I like with that middle one. I'll need to play around a bit with clothing/armour. Bit more research is needed I think with potential war paint and regalia...

Bit more render and detail work, still a ways to go but i'm happy with where it's going!

Angry Murder Chicken wants ALL YOUR POPCORN!! DROP IT! DROP IT NOW!! WONK! WOOONK!

wooowww so rendered :open_mouth: looks great!!

I saw Canadian-cobra-chicken in the title and I NEEDED to see it, gonna say... it does not disappoint!, this is one of the greatest things I've seen all day.

Finished the base and rendering, now to somehow tackle the colour. Self-teaching digital painting hasn't been easy, but i'm pretty delighted with how this is starting to come together!

Almost there, bit more polish and details where I can think of them... And of course the character sheet.

Cool! I like the colors. I think the piece could benefit from a bit of framing. Maybe the right wing gets cut off for example.

I do believe you're correct, i'll have to see about trimming it down. It just hurts to have to slice off background details that i'm actually kinda happy with.
