Decided to do an android from my home country.

First sketch.
I went with an android / cyborg girl, because Finland is considered a high-tech country and the map of Finland is known as "Suomi-neito", the Finnish Maiden. Also, the character should be quite small, because this is a small nation
I'll probably change the coat to a fur-lined winter coat for the Winter seasons, and keep the swimsuit-like underclothes to represent the lakes.
I should probably change the other arm to be more clearly detachable, to represent the changes in geography.
I'm also toying with the idea of using a Kantele, a traditional Finnish / Karelian instrument as a weapon, combined with the sword of Väinämöinen.

Back without the coat. Next up is simple designs of the front and the back of the coat, and the rig for holding the sword and the kantele.

The sword rig and jacket.
Sword and Kantele are mounted on an arm connected to the lower back in order to allow changing it's position determined by the current situation. The whole rig is controlled through a neural connection, but it can also be positioned manually.
I want the jacket to be a fairly simple winter jacket.
Next up, basic colour blocking.

Maybe I would go a bit darker in the jacket right behind her, to create a greater contrast ^^
