She’s from an alternate earth ruled by overgrown violent foliage and is on the front lines keeping crops safe.

Next update the full drawing. Background is mostly done, just need to add a few more carnivorous plants and I need to finish the details on Nova’s dress and then the sketch will be finished!

One thing I've recognized with this composition is that my focus in the first moment led to the middle (where basically is nothing but ground). Probably bc of the contrast (red soil to green monsters). If you want the focus to be on your character, you could change the colors to contrast the character, or change the angle to make her bigger, or change the background to place her more freely. 😄

Felt that way too. I had the tail of the lizard lead up to Nova to compensate, but I guess it needs a little more work!

Nice entry! I really like the style. It's very fun and lively

I just want to mention one thing. To be eligible for the contest you also need to upload a concept sheet (needs to be exactly 2048 pixels by 2048 pixels) of you character
alongside your illustration. You can read more about the requirements here. I'm just letting you know just in case it's something you might have overlooked
