As for the concept sheet - that is completely up to you! Take a look at past winners. It's not necessarily as rendered, but it tends to be pretty tight. But there's no hard rule about it, just make it look nice and appealing!

Pretty cool! I like the character contrast between the mech and the main character. As for the lighting, I think I like the second better.

So i found out that there was a deadline extension and bc of that i reworked most of the mech. Here are 2 Color passes with the new design im leaning toward warm mech with cool background and warm character but i also like the contrast between cold mech and warm background. Wich one do you think works the best?

That's tough. It's hard to pick as I do like both and I think they both work. I think the one with the first one (with the cold background) makes the mech pops a little bit more, but, like you, I also like the look that the warm background version gives. It's almost like they're fighting in a desert or a very dusty environment. And it gives it a bit of a vintage look, like an old photo that's a bit yellowed out, which I find interesting. I'm not sure if it's a good or a bad thing. I guess it depends on what you want to show.

But in the end, whichever you pick I think it'll work!

Maybe you can decide depending on your characters personality? ^^ Is she rather a warm or cold person? If she's more kind and friendly maybe go with the warm feeling? Just an idea, love the perspective btw😄

cool! question im not sure about the resolution im currently at 2914x3656 ( 2.45 MB) could you check if this is ok bc on my computer the loading of the image here on the forum is a bit choppy. Does my color comp load smoothly at your computer? it could be that its just my 2009 mac

It loads fine for me! Do you have multiple Cubebrush topics in different tabs? That slows down the loading for me at times. But then again I also have an oldish computer, haha! If not then you can also post smaller size pictures of your progress. As long as your final entries follow the required size limits then it's fine.

Well, if you really want to be safe then I'd say to do a back view for it, as I think giving the judge as much as you can is never bad. But it also depends if you think you'll have enough time to finish your entry and the concept sheet in time if you do it.
