Hello, I hope I am not too late to the party. I decided to do a resistance resistance girl fighting in an alt history where Empire won the WW2. She lost everything in the war and hasn't given up on fighting.

Basic character concept is inspired by the netflix show "Mr. Sunshine" with a mix of steampunk theme. I was thinking about the character's story a little and it might be cool to add a prosthetics to show she lost her body part from the war but strong enough not to give up.

2 design I have made so far.. the first one is western style outfit since in the WW era, Korea was taking western cultures back then, the western outfit was common so it might look fresh and history accurate in a way that Korean character not wearing Korean authentic outfit.

The second one is pretty much regular Korean traditional outfit only with her prosthetics. I think I am leaning toward the first one.

Tweaking her hair style and still not feeling her face much. I will keep tweaking it, here are the progress so far.

Pose try with the first outfit. It seems okay, but I think I will have to look for more asset references to add more detail because it looks kind of flat so far (hope that is the right word in English).

Another design I did. I was going with the first design at first, but I found some other inspirations while searching for the asset references. So.. yeah I think it is going to be keeping trying new designs until I fully feel like it before going to details!

I did some more work on the 3rd design, I am starting to like the design finally. Maybe a little bit more searching visual library would be helpful for the better design.

At the same time, I am studying MD work right now for the outfit. I have tried MD a few times, and never really got the simulation I wanted. Hopefully this one will come out nice and beautiful

Hello hello,
It has been a while since the last update. These are my current simulation state, and I am still working on improving. I wasn't really used to MD, so it has been working and studying at the same time, fighting through these collision errors that keep popping up.. but in the end, it is fun when it seems improving!

Still working on the clothing, I am starting to think that I may not be able to make it on time. But it is for me to study after all, so I will keep pushing as much and fast as I can..!

Yay~ I think I am done with MD finally. I am starting to work on sculpt and poly modeling for other stuff. There are too many things to model left, and haven't really figured out about forearm and prosthetic leg design yet.. I don't know, only hoping for it to work at some point lol.

Also, did some work on her face. I like it a lot now, but I am still working and hopefully I can make it look better.

This looks awesome! I really like it. Good luck working out the prosthetic limbs. Maybe the new masking abilities put in ZBrush can help inspire some cool designs.

Hello, here is my final progress update here. It seems I couldn't really make this on time unfortunately, so I am updating my current progress for the last time. but it has been a lot of fun and I learned a lot. Even though the challenge is over, I am thinking of keeping working on it as much as I can. Good luck and take care everyone, cheers!
