Hi everyone, some members have troubles uploading, so I just wanted to make this clear

All ART WAR 5 topics with valid entries will be submitted into the competition, even if the author didn't use the Submit button.

The Submit button enters your picture into the image showcase. For the competition and judging, every single topic with a valid entry* will count as submitted automatically.

It is preferable to put the final images either into the first or the last post of your topic, with a text clearly marking them as "Final" (especially if you have multiple versions of the same picture).
So don't worry, no one will be left behind :).

"Valid entries" means entries who followed the competition rules and aren't disqualified.

@Acolet, @cedricgo I apologize at the very last moment I wanted to rename my work "RUSSIA" to "Mishka with a balalaika". Is it possible to do this somehow? I even canceled the final work for that, but it still didn't work.

@rita_shap Hi! I'm not sure what you mean when you say you can't put it out. If you mean that you can't submit it using the submit button, then judges will be looking at all Artwar topics. So even if you didn't get to use the button, your entry will still be considered for the contest as it was finished on time. So no worries

@daimonfist Yes, all Artwar topics with valid entries will be submitted into the competition and be considered by the judges. The amount of views your entry has won't have any effect on your eligibility.

Just want to post this here. For whatever reason, uploading resizes my images so they are below the size requirements. Not sure if anyone else is having an issue with this.

Same. I had an issue with the upload resizing my images, I sorted it but wanted to update. However, I think that @Acolet did state above that as long as the entries are Valid (ie. Followed the rules) they will still be considered.

It's true. I met same issue when uploading. Also when I am trying to give "Like" I have the error number 500

Congrats to everyone on their entries! This was a really fun competition, and it was great to see everyone's creations.

I also ran into problems with the actual submission and the circle of death/unable to log in and submit on other browsers so hopefully the post time is what matters and not when I was able to submit which was literally seconds late.

After trying for 40 minutes I just posted link to twitter it was after deadline but I hope it will still count! Server still won't let me post images

yes same issue here.. at like 10 min before the deadline.. website stuck.. cant pass the "resize thumbnail" thing.. now submit button is gone.. GG

Hi everyone! The contest is officially over, thank you so much for your participation this year again! We're excited to go over all the entries and select the first batch of finalists soon!

We just wanted to reassure everyone we'll be going over every single topic to fetch missing entries if you ran into any technical issues when submitting.

All posts and edits have timestamps so we'll make sure to grab everything that was submitted on time, if you were not able to submit via the official submission system.

I tried now quiet a while (still in time) to change my entry, because even though I resized it, the JPEG was still 1,04mb. so I resized it to 854kb. I don't now what teh problem was, but it would be sad to be disqualified due of an upload error
I don't know how strict the file sizes have to be. I am annoyed with myself for not noticing it sooner. Still, Art War was a great experience
