@jcg the detail sheet shows the front, back and details of you final model. If your final model textures, so should the detail sheet.

yes it was extended because of a server problem we had earlier today due to amazonS3 servers being down.

Hi, for my entry my way of doing it implies that I dont have different sketches or iterations for my main character. Is that bad ?

Is it necessary to have a character presentation on a separate illustration ?

There are a lot of entries to go through so it will be a couple days before we have the first round of finalists posted, but we'll keep the whole process public until we narrow it down to the winners.

More information about the judging process will be posted tomorrow in a new topic once the contest is over!

Why Brazil is aways out of the challenges? First in Riot's Challenge, now here. Do I live in a awfull country or do the art communities have something against it?

We can't prevent you from participating of course, but you understand that if you do, you're automatically disqualified from winning any of the prizes, so technically you can't donate something you can't win.

So if you're ok with that, we'll definitely judge your entry and you might very well make it to be a finalist, but you will unfortunately not be eligible to win.

This sucks I know, but Brazil has some stiff import laws and we don't have the manpower to deal with all the hoops they toss at us. Especially if a monster company like Riot can't do it either.

It's not art contests in particular, any kind of contest will likely not include Bazil because of that. It's a similar story for all the other countries listed, and each have different laws and rules.

So I live in Melbourne AU, but my grandmother lives in Alabama in the US, which is my address when I go there, so can I join but use my US address and info?

if you have friends or family outside of a ineligible country who are willing to, they can receive the prizes for you.
Same with multiple addresses, if you win you can use the one from eligible country.

Hey, the rules above say you can have a family member or a friend in an eligible region enter for you! The rules say that the restriction was due to the laws around international contests and international shipping.

I was wondering if I could showcase a villain instead of a hero? I had concepts for both but My villain idea was stronger. Additionally, could I showcase a clash between light and dark or does the entry need to focus on one side or the other?

Yes, you can do what ever kind of character you would like really. As long as they're design in a way that is safe for work. Basically no extreme nudity and gore.

Yes you can, but, make sure the main focal point is more on your villain than the hero character. The villain should have center stage in the image.

Hello, a few questions: I noticed that there is a rule against uploading at the last minute, I'm gonna be really busy soon and was wondering when would a submission be counted as "Last minute".
Also, in the name field, do I have to fill it with my real life, registered name or can I go by a handle?
