Storyline idea:
Well after giving some thought to it, I've decided (more or less) that the storyline would be focussed on the Ragnarok (the Norse Jugdement Day) though in a futuristic way. Warriors would carry modern weapons instead of old swords though they're included as well but, as I said, with a cool design (gotta work on it yet u_uU). Ssssooo, valkyries are the important part here: in one hand, they're brave and powerful fighters. In other hand they're the ones in charge of collecting warriors fallen in battle and taking them to Valhalla where they will train till Ragnarok is unleashed.
Our protagonist, Seren is one of those Valkyries loyal to Freyja. She's a bit uhmm let's say 'mischievous', that's the reason why Freyja, as punishment, sent her to lead one of the most difficult factions of her army: the berserkers. So, she's steadfast, strong, determined and quite independent, those qualities make her fit for her duty.
I find the idea of showing the Ragnarok as a war between all gods in the Norse Pantheon quite attractive as it is meant to banish gods from earth I though it could be interesting that they themselves would be their enemies instead of an external enemy (demons or giants from Jötunheim for instance).
The Pantheon would be divided between those who follow Odin and those loyal to Freyja.
Anyway, I'll keep on developing the idea and see if I come up with something far more interesting to add to the storyline
