Hello all
first post here, glad to join the Art War ! I fight with the fantasy side, and here are my character inspirations.
I understood that it was a community contest; so I'll try to show as much WiP as I can.
The thing behind the character is a stylized monster in his proportions, I don't have the skill to show something ultra realistic during sculpting. But I will try some realistic textures.
I will work something very blizzard, very "Darksiderish" with the proportions of the body.
The armor will not be too evil, no big spikes... I will try to work with layers of more than a creepy form.
I'm not quite sure about the face right now but I will post asap.
Depending on the time i can spend on this, I will try to show some very worked textures, if i'm short, I will try something less "realistic"
So here are my first concept for blocking.
The legs are too short but I will correct rhis in Zbrush. The mass is not bad so I will go for this kind of shape for the body.
A pose try. I don't want something too creepy. For now...
A face try but it was too Doomsday, I will think about it later.
I've got the first idea, the first volumes so I will block the body very soon. Once again, it will evolve during the sculpting process (I don't like to draw Armor and weapons, looks really lame with me!), but you got the idea.
