Lets start with a thumbnail, that i think pretty much represents how finished illustration will look like. Still working on concept tho, so there is no design on characters, pretty much only shield.

I think shield will be some sort of artifact that lady uses to save dieing man soul into her body and fight arm to arm with him. So she will be pretty much knight/druid/light necromancer thing-ish

Also I will maybe add some cape, wings thing. We will see

Ok, decided to go in kinda differenct direction. I changed scene to little bit more intimate, without giant in background. Also I will add battle in background and fire.
Kinda started to detail it too soon. Now I need to polish concept sheet and then back to this baby

Lineart almost done. Now its time to finish shield, color that one, finish concept art sheet with some action poses and finish illustration ! Go go go !

Just realized i forgot to draw sword on her back, will fix that later
