Hello! My name is Gabrielle! I am quite new to the Cubebrush Forums, as well as Art War. :^) I want to sharpen my skills as an artist, so I decided to enter Art War 2 to challenge myself! I wish luck upon everyone participating!
I've been following Art War 2 for a little while now, but I have yet to show anything in the forums. Time to change that!
-Mother Of Light-
Originally, the concept for the Mother of Light was actually going to be something different. While the Mother of Light was going to be mentioned, she wouldn't have made an actual appearance in the art and design. She was going to be more of just an idea and concept to go along with what used to be the focus of the piece- a hero who goes by the title of "Son."

Later, I had decided to shift the character focus more onto the Mother of Light, because I had come up with a simple story in my head regarding these characters.
-The Mother of Light is a goddess who saved a mortal child during the dark age of the world. She grew to love the child, and went on to teach him about the ways of the light. So, the mortal child grew, and became a warrior known as "Son," as reference to his deity parent. However, in a great battle to determine the fate of the land, he had lost his life to the forces of the darkness. Heartbroken, the Mother of Light quickly became wroth with the war, and stepped in to avenge her fallen son-
Originally, the Mother of Light was going to have a more gentle appearance-- however, she was quickly changed from gentle goddess into warrior.
