It's great how you iterate her design, much better now in my opinion ^^ I like her crown and her strong face impression. And this kinda "wings" on her back are great too. Maybe the crown is little bit too much spikey in comparison to the "wings" and the whole design?

@frankenstejin haha thanks man I really wanted to show people my unfiltered process . thats a good point with the crown, I was gonna play with her silhouette next so that goes to the top of the list
@sanguine haha thank you its mostly because in the final artwork she is going to be the most saturated focal point of the piece, (also I was sneaky with the shift into the light desaturated yellows and oranges that balance out saturated colours )
Love how your idea evolves! I do agree with frankensteijn about the crown silhouette, but I do not doubt whatever alteration you will decide (or none at all!) will suit the character just fine.
this one catches mine attention i have a weakness for glow in illustrations really great idea got my vote
ok just a quick experiment for today small changes to crown and possible head veil effect that Im not sure how I feel about but thats what I want you peeps to help me with, yay or ney to the crown wispy tails?
further silhouette experiment, making sure I haven't overlooked the best possible design choice for this character
starting to experiment with final compositions while I work on the design, I figure I can always swap out designs once I like a certain composition enough

So I was feeling conflicted about the thumbnails so i experimented with them in colour to see if they work or not

Lovely design and especially colors Of these latest thumbs, I feel that 1 and 3 are slightly stronger because there's more visual interest in the silhouette. Great work so far, looking forward to seeing more!

ok I think this is the design I am going to stick with for awhile, now to learn the thing I have been avoiding...detailing shameful I know but not something I do often, so here we go!
bringing down the tonal range so that I don't lose the character I am trying to make
update to the detailing work starting to develop a proccess of how to do this, will prove invaluable when starting the final piece
