hey all
gonna give this a go for the funnsies. lets see what can happen. My idea was of a star that gave up her heavenly place to watch over us little things. I want it to be grand and sparkly you know the norm. this is probably not going to be the idea I stick with but its a good place to start
heres a few references I gathered to get a feel for the style and imagery I want to go for
concepts are soon to come so stay tuned
just experimenting with mood and design to see what I want her to feel like. added some grey scale for my own readability

some quick character sketches and pose experimentation. I really like the idea of most of her being made out of this crystal like sand from the impact but where the intensity of the star is she starts feeling more like a living goddess

started to explore an iteration in more detail. I feel like its lost the sovereign aspect of the character in favour of that innocent feeling I wanted to achieve. will continue to experiment with extremes
update to previous drawing, filled in back but dont quite feel like you can get the sense of how huge she is (practically the size of a mountain) going to try another itteration of her thats less cute anime girl and more primal being
That colour scheme is awesome! She almost looks like she is made out of crystal or glass
another iteration of her design, with an emphasis on her god like aspect
colour version of the new design, getting more comfortable with the crystal aspect of her even tho I still feel there is some essential contrast missing
I really love the hole through her chest. Very original, Also, she is gorgeous!

I really like the newer concept a bit more as well. I believe the anatomy is working a lot better as well. Really nice color palette. Nice use of warm and cools so far, Keep up the good work.

@racnos haha like a glass crystal she made herself partly out of her magic and partly from the super heated earth that turned to glass when she landed
