Working on my reference images to push my design more. Still going to get some references for anatomy and how cloth falls on the form soon.

Thanks rezilin. I see you're already blocking things out in ZBrush. I'm still playing around with the costuming. Trying some variations with my reference. Here is 2 variations beside my older one from above.

After some playing around, I went back to most of the first rendition, adding some detailing. But also taking a few elements I like from the other versions. Going to start a rough model pack drawing so I'm ready to just go big in ZBrush! Your thoughts?

Thanks @javi_oses for the comment. I haven't been this excited for working on a character in a long time. I'm doing some front+back 3/4 drawings now and other parts to feel out the shapes. Hoping to get started tomorrow in ZBrush. I might even use this project as an opportunity to learn Marvelous Designer.

Thanks @Zerraze. I'm trying to level up my character designs and get more subtle things like jewelery, interesting patterning and trim, etc. Been too used to TV animation work on simplifying and breaking out of that :P.

I am interested in seeing how yours is coming along.

Thanks all for the kind words. Here's some progress. I blocked in with some simple shapes to get her proportions proper. Taking a short break before working more on her basemesh. Hope you enjoy!

Got some progress cleaning up the block in. Time for another short break and maybe a draw over to tighten up the forms a bit more to how I want before I start blocking in the clothing.

Thanks @jonathan-barker I am trying to make use of the time I have to get a good start. Working on some paint overs right now with this step so that everything comes together easier in the long run.

Just finished some tweaks to the anatomy. Still have to go over the hands and simplify the shadows and shapes a bit to stylize it a bit more. Any critiques or suggestions are all welcome. Enjoy and have a wonderful night all of you!
