Hello, I am excited to participate in this years contest (a bit nervous as well since I'm still learning)! I haven't decided on a name yet but I'll be joining the light side~

Race: Divine Being (or host of the divine will)
Class: Mainly Support with Light Magic attacks
Skills: Guidance/Support (Orb of Remiel), Healing and fortune-telling
Weapon: Magic-Infused Tarot Cards and Light Magic
Likes: Gambling and Games, however nobody seems to ever want to play with her.
Dislikes: Being wrong. Opposing the Divine Will.
Quote: "everything is in accordance to the divine will." // "Even in death, we will ascend."

Character Idea: The character is a support-class hero who would rather others fight, as she believes she doesn't have the right to take a life, she guides the army of light with visions and heals the wounded. When in Battle, her attacks are fast but light, she prefers to be airborne and at a distance. She focuses on defense, hoping to wear the enemy down.

Theme: Elegance, Flowing Light/Transparency, Circles/Spheres and Tarot Cards.
As for colours; silver, white and a minor colour tint like blue or purple? (not sure yet)

Here is a rough concept; conflicted on whether to make her big chested--- or small (---both are great!!)

Advice, critiques and ideas are very much welcome; I hope to learn a lot during this challenge!

really interesting. My character needs healing so I hope you can help with that
Seeing as she is someone who rather stay in the back, the sketch silhouette on the far left is the best option in my opinion. She feels elegant and circle thing around her torso just works for me. The other sketches on the right side really showcase and give me a good vision of how she would move and be animated. Maybe you can try more versions with more cloth(on areas like her arms), but, that's up to you.

Been working on the base mesh recently, still not fully sculpted but hopefully getting there; just gotta keep working on it!

It's been a long time since I updated ;; If I'm honest I've been struggling with the face and body (not to mention playing around with concepts) haha; they still need work but I should stop obsessing and work on the clothing and hair before going back to the face and body (gosh I'm so behind) I feel like I haven't progressed enough; so I've been delaying updating this ;;

I'd appreciate any advice and criticism for improvements! <3 ;; I'm still learning anatomy so there are probably mistakes ;;

Nice work so far. A tip I would give is to draw/sculpt all the anatomy first before adding the clothes. For the abs area, if you can't fit in 8 abs then your stomach is too small. Gather some reference. The 3dtoal female anatomy as well as the Marc Brunet female are great references.

I did a quick paint over for the face and anatomy.

other things would be to clean up the sculpt a bit more. I don't know what you subdivisions are at, but lower them if they're too big so the soft brush softens much easier. Or you can use clay and trim dynamic if your at 500k polys plus. But, it is still better to work around 100k to 300k in my opinion.

I wanted to recommend something. You can make the rib cage smaller like overwatch characters are. Lastly, one thing you can also work on are the bottom legs of the girl. It looks like they're bending a bit.
