Damm @brohmyr, dude thank you so much! The drapery is something I need to do a really detailed study in the future so I'm really thankful for your comment^^
You are more than welcome to this post @malcom ^^. Really happy to see you like it
Right now I'm working on the retopology and baking on the "BigGuy". As soon as I finish it ill upload some updates and start a little bit of texture tries and them back to the girl. I´m still thinking on the texture style
I´ve been working on some texturing. I got a little bit of trouble with the baking process ( black artefacts) but it ends up well. So this is some first try in texturing. The major problem here as I don't know what I want, I just try stuff and that's even harder because I don't really know how to do everything I imagine in Substance so I´m working a little bit slow.
As always any C&C is super welcome, even more in the texturing process because I'm just learning. Hope you guys like it.
Really like him ! Maybe his skin color could be more like an undead, gray with some purple or blue in it, it would suit better with the color of his horns i think, they really have a nice color and the self illumination between his muscles would blend better too !
Thanks for ur comment @guimauve_rose I was totally thinking the same about the skin colour but... I also like to contrast between this two tones. I'm going to just wait till I start texturing the girl and that maybe can give me a clear answer. I'm really happy to hear you like it ^^
I'm almost finished with the retopology ( I only got to finish the swords). It's been tricky as I tried to keep a game level retopology and I end up with a total of 40k quads. I'm pretty happy
Hope you guys like it and as always any C&C are welcome.
Interesting (in a good way) colour choices for the big guy so far. I would suggest using some of that lighter/brighter orange near the bottom of his tail to get a nice gradation transition from the teal/blue lighting into the orange (like his hands) into the darker upper body tones that you have now. Keep it up!
Thanks @brohmyr the colours are not my strength. I was looking for a hard contrast and I´ll take a look at the tail... needs a little bit of work.
Wow, nice work. Keep it up
Thanks for your kind words! Happy to see you like it @iEvgeni
Here I let you guys some environment ideas... as well as a pose I made ... not as dynamic as I wish but sadly I got no idea how to make a rig so I made everything in Zbrush.Hope you like it and if you have any ideas for the environment or pose, please, feel free to share.
Wanted to show you guys some texture updates... still looking for a good sensation about the environment... I don't like too much the water and the ground so far but I'm pretty happy with the grass ^^. Also got to work in some teeth texture for the "BG" and maybe redefine some metals. Hope you guys like how is going so far and any suggestion is super welcome
I like it, but the colors don´t convince me yet. I also feel quite distracted by the flag... Maybe you could put them into some spookier environment?
I like all of them... I hope I got all the time to spend doing some crazy looking environment but as I´m learning some stuff I just decided to make some small diorama but I totally agree with you
Well, I´ve been working to improve a little bit the textures and this is the result... this are some ideas for the final shots to be presented as final images. Hope you guys like it.
Also, I'm trying to make a cool marmoset viewer but I got no clue how i can upload the viewer here... if someone knows.. pls let me know how (@malcom, sorry to bother you)
I think you need to go to"Export" in Marmoset, then click on "Marmoset Viewer". This should generate the interactive .mview file.
After that you should be able to upload the file onto the forum, but there´s a file size limit of 20-25 MB I believe!
Thanks @matteo, it was just the file size what was not letting me upload the file
Colorful and minimalistic... nailed it!
Colorful for sure! Can't see the minimalism in this. It's full of detail, and interesting bits! But yes... "nailed it" nonetheless.
