This is my very first try in any kind of challenge so I´ll try to do my best. Sonner or later I´ll explain my idea and a general block out I´ve started working on. Any critics are more than welcome ^^.

This are some of the concept ideas and photographs I used to make my mudboard.

The basic idea of this proyect is the supremacy of the dark side of ourselfs... even if we have been once in the light side. Something wild and imposible to control as it is something inherent in every human being.

This is kind of a weird idea, and really difficult to imagine... so in the next post ill show you the block out. Hopefully you all can understand me

Is just a pretty simple block out of the volume and shape of the character that actually are 2 beings.

The lady is the human part and the big guy with horns is the representation of our inner shadow... taking the power upon the human being, like a parasite.

It is just a way for me to see what it is in my mind and probably a lot of things are gonna be changed so.... at least I hope you guys have understood the idea behind the mess

Some anatomical updates for the big guy. Still looking for a comfortable volume overall. I was thinking about not giving him so much muscular power but being so big and so "powerful" the idea of being dominated by him is more visible.

I´ll be working on the forearm and hand now ( complex part imo) and ill be working on the girl as soon as posible because i dont want to go to far with the big guy.

Looking good so far. Her legs seem a bit short. I would also push the contrast on her being small and him big to give more appeal and contrast in this character. I dig the concept. Looking forward to seeing how you progress in this. Keep it up!

Thank you @brohmyr for taking your time to make a quick sketch ^^ Ill take a look at it. And I really agree with you. I kind of like the woman to be smaller but as she has to be a warrior I dont want her to feel too weak. Dont know if I´m explaining myself ^^.

Yeah. You can still make her look warrior like even with just the pose. A big part is all about attitude!. Small but not frail . Good luck!

Just wanted to add some of the progress I´ve been working on. I was actually really stuck about the girl´s indumentary. Didnt know how I wanted to be or what was the correct way to think about it. Should be somethimg more like a leather armor... or iron armor, that kind of things. Well this is what I end up to... just some basic shapes of the overall idea.

And about the big guy I didnt go any further with him just add some stuff I think looks cool and kind of mystic. Also thinking about some ideas to add in the future.

Some little updates for the girl... just trying to give her the look that she deserve. NoT really sure about the weapons... but thats the shape that i want to keep... althoug they look a little big... fits the hand perfectly. Hope you like it and any criticism big or small is more than welcome ^^.

Some big changes to the "Big Guy"... I was not really happy about the face at all so a decided to give him more like a creepy appearance more than some one serious.
With a big smile an a mask i think they give him a scary felling and mistical also. Hope you guys like and as always, Any criticism is more than welcome

It´s been a while since my last post ( Merry Christmas everybody ^^) I´ve made a lot of changes to the girl and now I got to focus on the "Big Guy". I'm planning to make him like metal nails or something like that. And add him some chains.

I´m trying to keep a nice feeling overall. The appeal of the character is something that is quite hard for me, create something credible.
Is still a WIP but is near the end ^^.

This is the last post of the year!! hope you all the best for this 2018.

I´ve been quite bussy trying to finish it before 2018 but here I let you guys some clay renders of the final state of the High Poly, it´s been quite hard for me to keep a nice feeling of the character overall but I´m really happy with it.
Hope you guys like it and as always any C&C are more than welcome ^^. See you all on 2018!!

Lookin slick @javi_oses Something to watch out with her skirt though. The creases feel thrown in there. Think of those tension points.

And how that affects the cloth and those creases

and a side note, watch out for your straight edges where you are trying to get a clean curve.

Keep it up. Lovin your progress! This will be awesome posed out. I am imagining the cloak billowing in her badass pose with those swords as the monster is lunging forward above her or something. Keep it up!
