I gathered some reference for my character. Admittedly he's turning out a lot different from what i'm used to but he's developing naturally and i like that.

Here I have a few designs I've been working on for my champion. I hope you guys enjoy him as much as I enjoy bringing this guy to life. I would love to hear from you guys and what you think and which design you like the most so far.

I still need to work on a few more concepts for his weapon and shield but I decided to rather start working on them once I decided which design I want to go further with.

It's been a while but here is an update on my character up until this point. I can't wait to move into 3D with this guy but I wanted to get the 2D part sorted before I move on.
I hope you guys like him.

Here are a few shield and sword ideas I had for my champion:

And here are a few faces I went through to get to the one I like. I ended choosing the friendlier face because I imagine my character as a fatherly kind of person.

Here are a few colour pallets I went through but as you can see I was mostly set on a gold-like pallet since the beginning:

Hey! it's been a while but i'm excited to be back into the fight.

Here is a boxed out base model for my champion done in Maya:

Then I proceeded to sculpt a little bit in ZBrush. I'm having fun familiarising myself with the tools and navigation of ZBrush. With that said I would really like to leech off of the tips and tricks or advice any of you have to offer as I continue on the ZBrush adventure. This is still very rough but I felt it relevant to share (for the reasons mentioned):
