LATEST UPDATE Concept

some thumbnails. not sure which site to choose atm. it fells like its way easier to come up with ideas for a dark character.but i kinda like the light one too. what do you guys think ?

I know what you mean when you say it's easier to come up with evil characters.
Right now I love the weapons of design 1 on the darkside, helmet design of 5 and costume design of design 3. Mixing those 3 together you can get some kind of battle mage or something. Great start.

I love 3 the most. She seems to have a lot of character but that can be due to the gesture and pose of the character. There all really cool. I like 5 as well. It's a hard choice.

tried to take all of them further and thats the one i like the most
very very rough but the overall shapes are mostly there.

Great line art and design! Your earlier concepts had more interesting silhouettes, a lot more elements breaking out of the outline - like those big prongs on the head or shoulder pads - that I thought added a lot of nice visual interest. Great design though, and good luck with the rest!

@mdashow you are right i lost a lot of the sillhouette.
also i realised that i didnt think about a background story and stuff like this .
because of this i tried out another character and i really like her so far. made sure that i just need to define the details now so i dont mess the sillhouette up again !
what do you guys think ?

I like the new concept. The cloth in the center makes me think of Japanese obis and samurai and such, which is a novel idea to bring into the concept. You could still push her silhouette more, imho. Like, she's got a giant pauldron that hardly breaks out of her silhouette at all. But then, that's just me. (And if you've seen my entry, you know I go in for the giant paudrons! )

so i started over again never really tried concepting so it was hard getting used to it. but after i watched some tutorials and tried thousands of variations( at least it felt like i did) i really like my character .
she is a caster or summoner who can summon light animals and stuff like that.
