Hello everyone my name is Haith and this is my entry for the contest, im a little late compared to everyone else but hopefully ill pull through XD.
I have been thinking alot about the whole concept of light and dark, and after watching star wars XD I kinda got the idea of balance, one persons idea about light might be another's darkness. So what if the character is both, two different personalities, one light the other dark struggling for control. depending on the situation how would that change the character, abilities, personality. And so ive started to explore this idea with my 2 characters, Zia meaning Light, and Layla meaning Dark. im hoping that this will turn into a cool project and hope you guys like it too XD.

I'm not sure but are you gathering light and dark elements on the same character? I'm asking because you can only choose one side, you can't have a mix. Cool first sketches btw

Alright so talked to Marc and Malcom about my idea for the contest, to be on the safe side im gonna choose a side so scratch that beginning post XD.
Decided im gonna go with the dark side :P. Sticking with Layla.

Character short story: Layla is a demon that prays on light moving from one world to another (even traveling through dimensions) consuming light and turning everything into darkness. And with each passing world that the light is consumed she gets stronger and stronger. (will be adding more to her bg story havin trouble putting in the words XD).

Anyway here are some more designs and explorations :)
