I'd prefer if the forum didn't show my email/real name, instead --> "L"

Alrighty, It seems that I cannot complete the image adjustment exercise from the 1st term due to the file being in .psd I cannot open the file with my software Clip Studio Paint and I was wondering If I could get the .jpg format for it. Thank you.

Hey! It seems there is a problem with usernames in the forum, for what I could see.
People were asking for name changes there.
It's a 2019 post but seems to be active till last year, you can give it a go.

Clip Studio should be able to open .psd files, you can also save to .psd from that program.

  • Try dragging the file to the open Clip Studio window.
  • Or right-click the file, select "Open with" and look for Clip Studio
  • Or from Clip Studio on the top left go to "File"
In the open "File" tab, select "Open"
Check the tab on the bottom right (Above "Open" and "Cancel") says "All supported formats"
If not, then select that option, and you should be able to see the .psd files.

Hope this helps =D

I'm afraid that didn't do the trick in the case of the .psd file.
I'll try the other thread for the forum name change, thank you regardless!

Oh! That seems like a clip studio issue.
Try updating it to the last version, or check on the forums for the program!
Surely someone will be able to help with that.

You can download Gimp its a free art program that supports psd
https://www.gimp.org
But I think it would be better in the long run to fix the .psd issue =P

I can access my files now, so I gave it a try myself.

Seems like the PSD file is in 16bit
Clip studio only supports 8-bit color .psd files.

Let's hope that is the only 16bit file of the course.
Give GIMP a try, should be able to work
