I've always had trouble with tones and so I've decided to do some small exercises, starting with two tone studies. These are some I did before and after work
Some 2 minute poses I did today. These were my attempts at less noodling in my lines and taking a more slow deliberate attempt at drawing the form

Nice stuff! I like where you're going with the monkey king piece that your reworking. It definitely feels more dynamic with the new composition. I'm looking forward to see how he turns out
