Hello everyone.

I've been watching Marc's youtube videos for a while now and they're great, I'm an amateur artist just looking for a great community of artists in this forum to help me grow.

I’ve enrolled in Marc’s course currently just on term 1. At the moment just going through assignment 2 - Image adjustments, I was finding it ok to do then got to the beach picture and started to struggle. What is the best way to start adjusting this image, I understand I have to use all the tools in this assignment but I just feel like I’m clicking anything and hoping for the best.

First of all, welcome.

Secondly, I think that's the main point of the exercise for the beach picture. Just play around different tools and try to be as near as you can. Yes, it feels like you clicking and hoping for the best but the best way to improve is to experiment around imo.

Welcome to the forums Billy! I look forward to seeing your progress! I remember Marc saying before on stream that the beach scene is 3 changes, if you don't get it. Its best to reset and try again from the beginning. Don't get discouraged this is a tough one!

Hello everyone,

First of all please forgive me, I'm not the brightest bulb on the chandelier I've completely put these assignments up backward. :weary:

Here is my digital pen control assignment, I'm still very much a newbie to the pen tablet. I'm used to drawing straight on the screen with procreate but surely and slowly I will get there.
