Thank you so much! Yeah, you're right about the ear. It does look a tad small xD
I know the censoring is really minimal, but I censored more of it earlier on in the painting and it made the shading around it looks really odd and out of place. I figured that we're all adults here or at least old-ish teens who are mature enough to not get offended by something like that ahah. Like I'm sure nearly every one of us has seen a naked dude before while doing a figure drawing. I'm actually not sure of the censoring policy on the cubebrush forums if I'm honest. Perhaps I need to look into that!

I forgot that I had to do a summer project for an in person art course I'm taking this year, so I'm sort of scrambling to create pieces for it. That's why there hasn't been any updates on the assignments!
Anyway, I thought I could still incorporate the term one classes, especially perspective 1 into my work! For this project, I have to do 9 postcard sized pieces of artwork based around the theme of utopia. Unfortunately doing digital art means that it's quite easy to get carried away with the details, so they're taking ages.. oops! The story behind the postcards is a girl and her friends going on a spaceship to a utopia planet. She is sending postcards back to her mum documenting the trip! When I print them out, I'll write stuff on the back of them in relation to the story too!

Postcard one is supposed to look like a postcard you'd buy in a gift shop!

Postcard 2 is canonically supposed to be a photograph of the main character when she first put her spacesuit on. Of course, for the spacesuit design I was inspired by Evangelion's plugsuits. I wanted to try a more anime type style which was fun! Not something I'd usually go for ^^

I finished the 3rd postcard! It's not very good. I'm awful at backgrounds aha. I'm trying my best though! Maybe one day I'll be really good at backgrounds.. but not today heheh

I just took a peek at your art journey for the first time. I may be a bit late but I wanted to let you know that I really like your Art Fight pieces specifically the AC/DC electric guitarist and the fire mage! Your style is epic, I hope to see more like it in the future.

Thank you so, so much! You honestly have no idea how much that means to me. I'm always worried that my style is too generic, but you've filled me with confidence

Today I did 60 second gestures, so I did half the amount of poses. I'm not sure if this technique is too messy? Do you think this technique is beneficial to my learning or should I switch back to the 30 second 'stick figure' gestures? I also found that I often had 15-30 seconds left so I might try to do this technique with 45 seconds.

I finished the 4th postcard! I really hate it but I've gotta move on otherwise I won't have all 9 done by the night of the 6th lmao.

Ahhh it's getting dangerously close to the 7th!
I adjusted postcard 4 a little and I finished postcard 5! I need to speed up with these ahah

V2 of postcard 4

Postcard 5!

Yay, I finished postcard 6!
In the very basic story of the post cards, the main girl has had a caricature made of her. I've never made a caricature before, but I tried my best

Postcard 7 took so long :')
But I'm super happy with it, so I can't complain (except my college teacher can and will when I don't turn in all the work that was assigned rip)

Thanks again to the people on Discord who alerted me to the awful original eyes and helped me to make them better!

Great perspective work on this last card. Eyes look really good to me at the moment!

Here are all 9 postcards for the project! The teachers... didn't really look at my stuff which was a bit disappointing after putting so much effort into them, but it's ok because I learnt a lot!
The postcards are almost in chronological order of how I created them, but rearranged slightly so that they all fit neatly together on the canvas! As you can see, I edited some of them a bit!

That's a little bit disappointing after witnessing you work on each of them so hard. Though I personally like all of them especially the last one.^^ Great work
