I just took a peek at your art journey for the first time. I may be a bit late but I wanted to let you know that I really like your Art Fight pieces specifically the AC/DC electric guitarist and the fire mage! Your style is epic, I hope to see more like it in the future.

Thank you so, so much! You honestly have no idea how much that means to me. I'm always worried that my style is too generic, but you've filled me with confidence

Today I did 60 second gestures, so I did half the amount of poses. I'm not sure if this technique is too messy? Do you think this technique is beneficial to my learning or should I switch back to the 30 second 'stick figure' gestures? I also found that I often had 15-30 seconds left so I might try to do this technique with 45 seconds.

I finished the 4th postcard! I really hate it but I've gotta move on otherwise I won't have all 9 done by the night of the 6th lmao.

Ahhh it's getting dangerously close to the 7th!
I adjusted postcard 4 a little and I finished postcard 5! I need to speed up with these ahah

V2 of postcard 4

Postcard 5!

Yay, I finished postcard 6!
In the very basic story of the post cards, the main girl has had a caricature made of her. I've never made a caricature before, but I tried my best

Postcard 7 took so long :')
But I'm super happy with it, so I can't complain (except my college teacher can and will when I don't turn in all the work that was assigned rip)

Thanks again to the people on Discord who alerted me to the awful original eyes and helped me to make them better!

Great perspective work on this last card. Eyes look really good to me at the moment!

Here are all 9 postcards for the project! The teachers... didn't really look at my stuff which was a bit disappointing after putting so much effort into them, but it's ok because I learnt a lot!
The postcards are almost in chronological order of how I created them, but rearranged slightly so that they all fit neatly together on the canvas! As you can see, I edited some of them a bit!

That's a little bit disappointing after witnessing you work on each of them so hard. Though I personally like all of them especially the last one.^^ Great work

I'm a big girl, I can deal with it xDDDD

But thank you so much!!

She just didn't even glance at my work ahah. We all had to put them up in the room somewhere and she just walked past mine. They weren't in a non obvious place or anything.
No criticism or anything!

Here's my foundations for the 1 point perspective task! Perspective like this is so draining to me D:

That is not very professional from an art teacher. You'd think they would say something about each student's project.

I think there was just a lack of time. We were only in for 2 hours on that day and the first hour and a bit was going through induction stuff.

Ah well, and this is why we love Marc and Art School community

Yeah, I've learnt so much from this community! You guys are so nice <3
