Hello everyone. I've been dabbling in art for a few years now, learning from multiple YouTube channels and slowly growing my skill. I have these ideas for pieces or small projects but there either above my skill level or I'm not satisfied with the end result. So I'm here to learn, grow and hone my skills as an artist to the best of my ability. If you have any critique or advice, please feel free to share.

Nice work on these Bort. The beach scene is tricky. Marc has said before to do three changes and if you didn't get it it's easier to start over. Keep it up!

Wow, this looks real! I can't tell what images you've used ( though I'm guessing the castle / home is a separate image, at least ). Nice work!

Yup, I only added the castle. I was also going to add a person sitting on the log or walking to the castle on the side of the lake but it felt like it messed up the composition.

Perspective Assignment

Perhaps a person to the left side on the log would mess up the composition. I would say that perhaps including a small boat ( kayak maybe? ) on the mid-right side of the image ( in between the castle and the left side of the trees ) in the water might work. It could direct the eyes to that area, and then they'd more easily naturally go to the castle and the snowy mountain at the background.

But that's just a thought.
