I also can't seem to upload a cover image for my storefront. After selecting the image it just sits loading for what seems like an eternity. Never actually saves the image to my profile or storefront. Has anyone else had this issue?

Hi @cd_legasse, sorry to hear that there are problems. Could you tell me if you've tried the optimal extension/size shown in the screenshot below?
Doesn't work still. Same thing for my profile image. I can't get images to upload. The loading icon just sits and spins forever. I've tried in several web browsers, on multiple machines, and on multiple networks and it never works.
That's a real bummer. Could you send Help Center an e-mail with information about the problem? They can further assist you.
