I have found my pencil back ! I am still questioning a lot about this exercise and I hope I am improving in some way

Even more gesture drawing. Mostly of people waiting in the train station.

I am really focusing on gesture drawing. I got inspired by abstract sketching and I really want to learn a way to get this king of sketching.

My motivation is this sketch from Glewes, I font it on patreon

That inspo sketch is so cool! One thing I'd note with your gesture is to really pay attention to that line of action and kind of the building blocks of building a human body (ie chest is one "block", stomach is one, and pelvis is one). This can really help with your learning journey I think! Good work so far!

Thank you for your advice <3 . I still have a hard time withe the torso as separate parts. I will try to focus on it on the comming days.

Didn't had much today but got fascinated by some ballet videos. So I did my gesture drawing with this as reference.

I've tried different approach on two minute 30 seconds I feel that there are still something that I do not quite right but it's a good thing because it shows that there is still a lot to learn from this exercise

Started Term 2! I had fun with the Visual Communication course. I ll do the assignments later this week

Started playing with the Layer styles and vectors, I still have difficulty to get something that looks good. I like the title result, whereas I am not convinced with the characters but considering I wasn't inspired in the first place, I am ok with that.

I have finished the box cover assignment. Krita feels like it's not mature enough to be as good as PS on this part but with the updates to come it should only get better

For today's work, I did some gesture drawing and finished the brush course

I had some difficulty to find the right brushes on Krita and it will take some time to make my own set of brushes

I worked on some personal project. For the first time, I have managed to get some descent proportions right out of the gate without having to feel off about it or having to fix it. I am really happy !

I didn't have the guts to make the face, I know I don't have the skill to make it look ok, but it will come later. Term2 is here to fix that !

Thank you, I am quite happy with it but I still hope to improve !

I did some figures and shapes, apart from the shadow mastery and maybe line precision, I don't have a hard time doing theses. I also played with gradient map for coloring.

Some shapes while I was out. I master the pencil way better than the digital pen

Did some volumes in the bus. I will not recommend drawing on a bumpy road in a bus. But looking outside gives a lot of inspiration to draw random shapes.
In this drawing I draw inspiration from a scooter seat, a log tree, a mailbox and even a scarf.

Some gesture or figure drawing. I don't really know how to call them at that point. 1min. As a daily exercise, I still feel that I haven't reach what I could do, so it is quite motivating !
