I don't really like her eyes so much but I have to say that I've improved really much during this journey until now and,
I don't know, I'm proud of that And I'm looking forward to see my progress, but I have to learn to appreciate the journey.

Hi @mau.wamp!! Thanks a lot for your comment, I really appreciate it

One thing that I could say to you is to divide the drawing process in steps.
I usually do the basic color and then with a big brush I do general shadows and highlights of the entire volume, than I do smaller and smaller details always with shadows and lights.
After that I redo a general shading over the folds to make them less, aggressive if I could say hahah it really changes the final result.

Sometimes at the final stage I also color pick the color of the folds in the photo and seeing if it maches with the values of my drawing.
Another thing that could help is to looking for the darkest and brightest colors in the reference before starting and then play in this range of values.

It's not so much to say but I hope that it could help you in some ways!!

Today I started using my new wacom cintiq 22 and, that's so strange hahah my only tool before was my ipad pro with procreate and I'm feeling that I have to learn everything from scratch from the pen feeling to the tablet and the program itself.

This is my attempt with a figure drawing

I don't know why I like to draw female figure laying down hahaha

I think your study looks good, the proportions are solid I just noticed a couple of things.

The ribs and hip bone are more pronounced in the photo. Keep an eye out for where the muscles overlap too, it's hard on a figure like this because she doesn't have a lot of muscle mass but just adding a hint of that can add a lot to a drawing.

Your work looks awesome and those cloth studies in particular look great

wow! went for the big wacom purchase. first and best thing that i felt when going that route was the pen to screen feel. yes there was a learning curve but the etched glass feels so much more natural than the slick glass on a regular tablet. i really hope you enjoy

Thanks @MattD for your revision, I am still struggling with anatomy in figure drawing, most of all the ones with not so much muscles like in this case. I really appreciate that I hope that with including arms and legs in the next term it will be easier to tackle this things.

@ghostmonst3r that's right after one day I have to say that this tipe of screen is very natural and it flows better than the tablet, hope to be good at it as with the other device hahah

Today I started to sculpt a bit with zbrush and this is what I achieved

The first one is the assignement for the class (I could have done it better, but for being the first work with this program I like it ) and the second one is just, having fun hahah trying to be familiar with tools and interface.

Hi!! today I've done another figure drawing (next week I will tackle anatomy very seriously so I'm preparing for that hahah)

I'm feeling comfortable with proportions but I don't find a lineart that I really like, any advice?

I was just about to congratulate you on your lineart before seeing your comment that you don't like it 😅

Honestly, the lineart looks very nice to me. You could try to do it again with less thick lines more on the "inner-body" parts - like on the left side, where the chest and the right-arm (our left) meet, and just use stronger strokes on the overall silhouette.

But just if you want to try something different. This look very nice already 👍

I've given you some compliments on your eye for value and form. But the things you've posted since you started the zbrush stuff has shown me another side of your talent. Your grasp of 3 dimensional space, both in your anatomy and zbrush assignments, have shown such great understanding. I can't wait to see the things you model, I have a suspicion I'll be quite impressed.

when there are 2 version of the same leg is the before and after the sliding over the actual reference and check if something is wrong.
