FInally! We just moved to a new city and finally have wifi, its been almost 2 weeks with just data.
So, starting yesterday I wanted to sketch scenes daily, to further develop some fundamentals ^^

Gotta love foreshortening and perspective based sketches, Im really happy how the female main character turned out, super dynamic ^^ but yea, on to the next one!

Did some alterations on my phone and I see that my lines could be thicker/ more consistent, will work on that! ^^

Hey there people o/ here are some recent sketches I made, and also a sketch rework.

Here you can see a typical example of what I think would look 3 dimensional while I actually way over contrast it, and once I take a step back I realise that when knocking back the values, and actually thinking about 3d form you'll achieve something 3d-ish way quicker/ easier

Pilot Artemis 3D - blender

This was a really fun project I recently finished where I went through all of the concept and design stages/ decisions in one character. My Idea was to make a character that could fit into the Star Wars universe, so I had to base parts of her in reality like her shoes and head gear, and of course give her a flight and exploration companion as well.

Working around the head anatomy to fit this real life referenced pilot cap + eye gear was a fun challenge, that ultimately lead to an interesting design.

Companion/ exploration robot: STWRT

Here is a turntable of my latest robot design. This little guy is part of my Artemis character concept, being her robot companion.
His legs are referenced from ostrich anatomy while I also gave him human like hands on telescopic arms for tool use and fine tuning. At the back you can see the battery pack with the Illuminated battery icon, letting you know the state of his energy.

Hey everyone! Here’s a little 3D doodle from last night. I thought of this swimmer character whose body slowly decimates, revealing her true form. 🤖

It also leanes on the idea of the episode of Love, Death & Robots “Zima Blue”.
