don't blame me on the legs xD haven't done them yet...well the thigh part is done but...you get it i tried to make her stare a little less creepy...still deciding what to put in her hand

I realised that the leg was too long and her face wasn't perfect and i made some more touch-ups, thats how important it is to flip the canvas sometimes ^-^ also saw that the tree in the foreground had a too high contrast

Some simple shading and adding more detail >-<

I like a lot of what you are posting. That sketch of the woods fairy is pretty great. I think its a good start for a new painting. Also, post your studies too. Can't wait to see more.

This is it ^^ i kind of like the vibe of it since it isn't a full imagine/Scene just like maybe a scene that would be in your head while reading a book and you form the details given to you into a picture in your mind I always loved Sakura trees since they are so vibrant and just amazing >-< I know that i still have to learn a bit more about...everything xD but yeah I'm still on it and i really need to kick my butt sometimes to learn first before just painting >-< well in this one it didn't quite work, I just painted away 0.o you might have also noticed that this wasn't done in a few hours, i had to always work on it in bits because school and helping my mother with her job is really taking a lot of time of my day hope you guys understand

Starting a new picture in wich im trying to focus more on my saturation ..by that i mean to not oversaturate xD this is just a simplistic first idea i had ^^

Do you guys sometimes also have that feeling that you could always add more and fix even more ? >-< yeah..me too xD but i think this is the last edit and the blue lights or 'eyes' added a cool feel to it i think

Hey Achronic ! sorry that i wasn't able to respond to you earlier, but yea I'm always trying to make progress (who isn't) and i love to put my studies or maybe even the knowledge from mistakes in older pictures into recent paintings ^^ don't worry tho, i also have a lot of books that help me figure out the anatomy of humans and even in my Sakura painting i saw that her upper arm was too long and in the paintings before that i also saturated way to much because usually i only paint in black and white, but i want to leave that behind me^^

Glad to hear that you're looking into books and all I just wish I had realised how important line art was way earlier. Made a drastic improvement after I had put my focus on it!

I think i will make a story out of my painting 'until dawn' with the whole griffin / cat owl ^^

Wings almost done ^^ when im done with that i will give this guy the right lighting, since its in the evening its more of a back-coming-light

When he saw this weird two-legged-crystal-human he knew he saw something like that before.. still he doesn't know what it means.. The blue-bright-vibrant light that radiates from it fascinated him but also left its marks. Maybe the two-legged-crystal-human knows more...

Hmm, i think you could add some of that red color hitting the clouds to the sky in the background, coming from below. Would make things more harmonious, i think. This creature looks really interesting

Yea its an Owl griffin ^^ still needs a name but it will get that later when becoming friends with the girl with the crystals on the back

@ragamuffin I gave the clouds a bit more of a red/orange tint and made the crystal more bright, it also exposes the griffin ^^

Coloring in the basic colors ^^need to go do homework rn >-< see you guys

Some touch ups and first time painting some texture >-< this is a giant rock golem and wont be as hight contrasted since he is more in the background ^^ still in 2nd paint job tho

What i learned is that parts that are this big and far away from each other like the right arm and the left arm have different saturations ^^ the one in the fore-ground has a way higher contrast then the one in the back. Still long way to go

Ohh, this giant looks interesting! reminds me a lot of the infernals in wow due to the green cracks. Careful with detailing the hand, you wouldn't want the creatures head to be lost! You have a nice opportunity here to create cool rimlighting as well! Keep up the good work!

@achronic I re-touched the contrasts and general light setup to make him look a bit more evil i also added some little features to the face area but since its so high up there wont be so much detail ^^

Studying faces a bit more ^^

' Last sight ' so..i tried something new ^^I tried to make it in some parts a bit more...hm.. professional. It's kind of ironic since with my 2nd Pc illustration i said it would be 'hyperrealistic' just because i made a high contrast level.. and that was like 2-3 months ago. What do you guys think about this one ? the theme was kind of watery

sketching overwatch character 'Tracer'

In this step i had to remodel the face a bit like make the nose a bit wider and the mouth too but the eyes a bit more narrow.

probably one of my most favourite Value study ^^ ! #Tracer#Overwatch i will also add my own little twist to it like i did with the hair and stuff by sending the finished piece in for the weekly challenge ^^ will keep you guys posted

I guess its finished ^^ -warm touch- Tracer has such a warm and sweet personality and brings a bit of warmth to the battlefield.
