This should be most of the work from Term 1 completed except the 1P Perspective, which is still WIP. I've been working T1 for a bit but since I was in physical classes progress was slow, close to 3-4ish months. Since I've got more time, I can dedicate alot more to these projects.
I struggled with this one for a bit just because I didn't know what I wanted to do! A snowy cabin? Maybe a townhome in the mountains? I went with a gloomy citadel-esqe type of castle. Looking back at it now, I see some room for improvement, especially with the lighting, but it is what it is.
When I started out, I thought gesture drawing looked sorta weird to be honest but its quickly become one of my favorite exercises to do. Although I didn't have much time, I tried to do 1-2 sessions per week at least. In comparison I've done 8 sessions this week lol. It's a lot of fun. The set directly below this is my first session from 2ish months ago, 1 Min poses.
I changed out my ref database for 3 new ones this week to keep up with my pace so I've got a bunch of variety and I sprinkled in what I thought would be some more challenging ones. These poses are from today, 1 Min as well.
I was definitely feeling that sci-fi influence from the example when I was thinking of what to do. I wanted something that looked more like a ship interior with lots of techy bits and bobs. I decided to go with a sort of cryogenics feel with lots of tubing and pipes and some visible hallways. It's going good so far so hopefully I'll be able to finish it soon.
These are some random works and WIP's from my courses on Proko.

That was a lot, but I didn't want to just leave this thread with an intro. I'm also not the most confident about posting my work so it's a bit less painful if I post it all at once, right? Yeah, no, still self-conscious lmao, but please do leave any feedback, critique, and/or comments, it's all greatly appreciated. I'm going to get some rest, so have a wonderful rest of your day!
