I believe I noticed a little bit of improvement this day. I started to feel more comfortable doing circles with my shoulder. I spent about 5 - 10 minutes on each day, butI think I should have took my time and drawn longer.
I didn’t enjoy this day at all. Looking back I realized I was trying to free hand everything when I should have been using a vanishing point so my line would at least have direction. I was trying to draw like Marc was in the video but I forgot it’s a lot easier for him to do it then me. Cause he has more experience.
Again I should have used a point for reference.
I discovered the peppermint brush this day. And I will be using it for small shading now. This day probably took 30 minutes just because I re did my circle multiple times. I see the mistakes now but at the time. I though it was decent.
This day I realize how limited my visual library was. I did the cube stack furthest to the left and realized mine didn’t look like Marc’s. It finally hit me that I only have been drawing cubes the same way my whole life.🤦🏽 Flat square with lines going slightly left/right..
Also I made my self use a point finally. Still free hand but using the point for direction.
Idk why but I had trouble cutting a cube and cylinder while I was on break. I had trouble and this took me 40 minutes to do. Again I believe it’s because my limited visual library. Last night I realized I need to do my 5 minute studies to help me see shapes better. I work at grocery store and I stock cereal and oatmeal. Which is great cause I studied the a large amount of different cube shapes and it helped me realize the different angles of of cube. I’m going to makes sure to continue my 5 minutes study’s to increase my visual library. Hope people don’t think I’m crazy when they see me staring at cereal boxs.😂
Good stuff keep at it
I got sick and fell off from my exercises! Going to get back at it soon as possible!
