This is what I worked on today during term one figure drawing I was curious did I draw the right cylinder for this model?

sup cj, one thing that i noticed was the direction of the contour lines, they must follow the direction of the opening in the cylinder.
Did a little example just express myself better, also put on it some things to keep in mind while doing these assignments, like the hip and shoulder lines and the line of action of the figure, it's good practice to always try to find these.

Well, i was thinking some what of the same thing, but he beat me to the punch. Anyway, he is correct, the thing you can do is to try to "see" the world in simple shapes, it's tricky but fun ( for me that is ).

I also liked how you used boxes for the hips instead of circles it helps me see where the hip joints should be

sup man, almost there i say, i'm in a bit of hurry but i made a quick example on the things to keep an eye out, i found a bit hard to see the landmarks on the figure because the resolution is quite low, look on pinterest for some with a bit higher quality on them

Sorry for the late reply, that's improvement to my eyes, once you get the concept everything just clicks, just keep at it.
