Hello everyone, I hope you are all having a fine morning. Here are some studies for the past days. I like the end product of my character concept although it did take a second to get to it. As always i appreciate critique!
Great job!Top right concept looks great, loving those 6 wingsI think design wise something is missing on her stockings to make it even better
As for the ruins study, I think it could use a little more dynamic range (darker shadows, more contrast) bottom left for example is a little busy, so you could reduce contrast even more, while adding contrast to the focal point

Really nice character design, makes for a really interesting silhouette actually.
As i am practising character design too i've learnt that everything needs to make sense on the character and to be practical. the smaller weapon she's holding seems like a gun due to the hand position but a character that is holding a giant blade weapon wouldn't necessarily have a gun. If it is a knife/dagger the hand position would need to be adjusted.
@snakker i agree with her missing something on her leg so i will most likely add something in the future. I will also work on adding more contrast to the focal point in my environment art, thank you for pointing that out to me!

These are my recent studies. I definitely am getting a better understanding of environments when i draw them from reference, although i do need better understanding of leg anatomy. I also am feeling more confident in doing grayscale. As always critique is much appreciated.
