The design and the colors on that candle look neat - good job
@AlexZoinks thanks! i really enjoyed drawing and rendering that candle.
Hello everyone i hope you are having a splendid morning, I am here with some art studies. Feel free to critique as i love constructive criticism. Thanks for stopping by!
Hey everyone! i know I'm a day late posting but I've been a tad bit busy. Anyways here are my studies for the past few days, I would love critique if you can give it. I really enjoyed the hand and feet studies along with the jinx color study, actually i enjoyed all these studies! Have a great day everyone.
I really like your loose yet pleasing drawing style
Thank you @snakker that's the first comment I've gotten on my art style.
Hello everyone, I hope you are all having a fine morning. Here are some studies for the past days. I like the end product of my character concept although it did take a second to get to it. As always i appreciate critique!
Great job!Top right concept looks great, loving those 6 wingsI think design wise something is missing on her stockings to make it even better
As for the ruins study, I think it could use a little more dynamic range (darker shadows, more contrast) bottom left for example is a little busy, so you could reduce contrast even more, while adding contrast to the focal point
Really nice character design, makes for a really interesting silhouette actually.
As i am practising character design too i've learnt that everything needs to make sense on the character and to be practical. the smaller weapon she's holding seems like a gun due to the hand position but a character that is holding a giant blade weapon wouldn't necessarily have a gun. If it is a knife/dagger the hand position would need to be adjusted.
@snakker i agree with her missing something on her leg so i will most likely add something in the future. I will also work on adding more contrast to the focal point in my environment art, thank you for pointing that out to me!
@jasminerosepowellThank you for pointing out that the knife looks like a gun, the funny thing is is that in the gesture reference she is holding a gun.
Hello everyone, it's been a hot second. Well not really but i think it has been. Anyways, here are my art studies for the past little while. I feel like I'm starting to get better at environment art and i am also grasping the forms of the face more. I hope everyone who reads this has a wonderful day and as always i appreciate critique.
Hello once again everyone, I hope you are all doing swimmingly!
These are my recent studies. I definitely am getting a better understanding of environments when i draw them from reference, although i do need better understanding of leg anatomy. I also am feeling more confident in doing grayscale. As always critique is much appreciated.
Really loving those hand and feet constructions, looking great!
Thanks @Lockenheim, I feel as though I'm getting more comfortable with drawing hands and feet.
Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing swell. Here are my studies this week. I finished a few pieces one being a redraw of an old drawing and the other for fun.
I usually don't post twice but i forgot something
Beautiful work, very expressive!
thank you @snakker i love the kind remarks.
Hello everyone here is my weekly art dump before i get back to the grind.
Well another few days has gone by and it's a new month! I can hardly believe the year is going by so quickly. Anyways here's some art. Some stuff from imagination and some studies. As always i love critique. Have a great night everyone.
I'm back with more content, man i am tired. I hope that you guys get something out of this and have a great night i know i will be sleeping like a rock. As always i love critique! Let me say one thing, backgrounds and rendering are my alkalies heel. So i hope to get better at them.
I've been up to clothing studies, following the new art school guide. That is all as always i appreciate the critique.
