Im here and ready to improve on this long journey. I'm Cody and more of a beginner when it comes to art. I've drawn in the past but just recently I really wanted to get back into it and now I'm in love with art. technically I should've started this forum or topic a few months ago when I started art school but you know how that went. I look forward to learning and improving with everyone.

A very good start! The pressure practice looks pretty smooth for the most part.

yeah the circles and pressure could definitely use some work but I think I've improved since then at least I hope.

Hey there, you did great on this assignement, though there are still a few nitpicks. First, in the first exercice, they all are very close, maybe try shift a tad their hue and brightness. You nailed the first picture on the second exercice, But the second one's colors are a bit faded, the sky and the suit are the most noticeable difference. For the color balance, try to crank up the red. (Also the reference picture have some weird stuff going on there). And For the last one, I struggled with this one too, so I can tell that it is close, but I don't know how to fix it. All in all, it's great ! 😃 Have a nice day! (And please don't be discouraged)

Welcome! Nice work so far! I remember Marc saying for this beach adjustment its 3 changes and if you don't get it, its best to restart than to try to keep adjusting from there. Welcome to the group!

This is my gesture drawing from day one to day 23 I believe maybe that's right what do you guys think I could improve upon? (I don't know how that line got there)

I think it's clear that you made quite a bit of progress within those 3 weeks.

What I notice is, that your lines make the impression that you are quite tense. No need to hit the perfect line. I do like the imagery that was painted in one of the gesture drawing videos on Prokos Youtube: Imagine being a race car racing along the curves of the body.

I feel like you are a bit to focussed on detail here and there. You tend to draw in the muscles of the arms for example. What that tends to do is break the flow of the pose.

Another way I like to think about is: How can I make the longest possible line that still describes the pose?

Fantastic work! I'm still learning gesture but I try to push the movement until it breaks, then bring it back just a small amount. Loving your work!

They look pretty good in terms of proportions to me. What i don't like is your linework in some places, it looks a bit hesistant. Particularly for this exercise I think a bit more finish would help, there should be no ambiguity where a line is placed

Also it would be cool to add numbers to the drawings, makes it easier to track your progress (especially for us followers =)). Can't wait to see the next 7.
