is there a limit to the amount of characters/creatures/pets per entry?

Okay, so can we base our topics on some ancient/old mythology, would that be considered original?

I want that Yellow Star figurine!

Marc is the best, 10/10.

check the main page!

ah, no sorry man. the main thread indeed doesn't say it ( maybe now it does) but in the comment section this was also asked and anwsered with a ''no, original art only, should probally have said that'' -marc. so as you can see, that is a no and no premade pieces either, so if you are a fan of your own kitbashing you need to make a fresh batch for this contest.

Think of it as the perfect portfolio piece  Fanart doesn't help much in that regard.

@marc , is fanart or inspiraton from a particular style considered?
i am kinda going in a similar style to overwatch universe..so just a random question that popped up..

So will that be considered as fanart? although i am working on my own concept but it will have that overwatch look in it..

Is Collaboration with 2 or 3 people okey?

I would think it is ok but the prices will not multiply than, like, same prices for 3 people as for 1 person. but maybe this is supposed to be a adventure of the solo artist(s)

Thank you for the great contest. I have a question. In the submission guidelines its stated that contestants have to submit a final image and an embedded Marmoset Viewer/detail sheet.
My question is does the presentation of the character in the final image have to correspond to the presentation in the marmoset viewer?
Or do I have to pose the character in the marmoset viewer in a T pose? (like the detail sheet)
Also it would help to have a breakdown of the judging criteria since there's no polycount limit.

(P.s - this is the most userfriendly forum I've ever used. To see the preview of my post while I'm typing it is most helpful. Awesome UI. Compliments to you!

I know the competition is about character design , will we lose points if our character is riding something or other elements are present in the scene to help build an underlying story? Just thinking my character idea would benefit from either a mount or companion.

Check the main contest page, those are all ok

It's not fanart as long as you're not copying/basing your own design off of any of the existing characters. You can use any style you want.

It's a solo contest.

@rath-nikhil No, the marmoset file can be posed or not, up to you. The judging criteria are mentioned on the main contest page btw! There are no technical requirements other than the Marmoset file has a limit of 20MB.
