the idea is some winged creature charging and delivering a frontal blow, so I idid two simple lines representing it and started to recap study anatomy volumes etc polishing it one step after another. In particular here I recap about clavicula/scapula, forearms, applying fat over muscles, clutes, lateral muscles of legs, wings structures...then I started having fun putting on small details, like thick eyebrow, tubular like structures over face etc...

I love how the expression turned out like "you have no idea how hard i will hit you boy....." also playing a bit arund whit brush opacity give me a trait that I fell more like a pencil

I feel satisfied. I reviewed a lot of anatomy, line weight, values all make more sense in the end. Now I think is time to go to next term, term6 ! ....maybe in future i will work again and this concept, a pidgeon-human race, maybe for a videogame character, explaining her bio, hrr story, her world, her special moves etc...

Assignment forom Lights2 Term6. I like how it was very basic form based but whit much interesting and different things to explore, ambient diffused lights, occlusoon lights, fall off shadows, shadow edges, bouncing lights. All the local color were white.

Lights assignment, I lighted a old artwork, that was quite difficult, theory is clear but when it srtart adding ,ultiple different light source the difficult escalate quickly I am not even sure it is 100% correct....probably it is not

It look like a very fundamental and complicsted topic to me. Definately I need to study more about it

I added more shadow into nght one, realizing how the composition give a focal point into the circle in middle and a simple sketch for fun, then started another day/night. this is still on study. at mid I realized having long shadow like that give more the feling of late evening and I ffel isn't right having such light blue diffuse light , but I made all the shadow according to that, so I guess I will keep doing it in that light.

the study keep going, I did again the base color and shadows , shortening projected shadows, almost clear sky

Really like this one - the forms are clearly defined and the colors go together well.

this should kind around 4 pm on a sunny summerday, still to be refined lacking details (the lineart kkep messing up), reflected lights ,occlusion etc...

still working on it, I need more focus, I am too tired lately and I always get not enough time. Anyways I corrected some values on stones, worked on cloud shadows, on foliage texture and some details in small arches
