Hello, everyone!

It's a little difficult for me to manage art every day, but I'm hoping having a sketchbook here of wips and scraps will help motivate me to draw more often. My favourite subjects to draw are monsters and alien creatures, but I want to also branch out into environments, which is one of my biggest weaknesses.

Here's a couple designs I'm going to try and flesh out more. The second one especially I want to render as best as I can. Critique is very much welcome! Thank you and stars bless.

Welcome! Eager to see more from you, these look very interesting.

Here's a few sketches from the past couple of weeks. I haven't been able to draw much due to being way too exhausted after work every day, but I just moved to a much calmer department and it's my hope to get more drawing in, both during breaks and when I get home.

Hey welcome aboard! Good to see different types of artworks in this community. And hopefully you can start with a healthy routine for drawing. Maybe can try doing it in early morning

Woah, love this creepy stuff! The trick to beat exhaustion is to love drawing!! This way, you'd draw pretty much anywhere and anytime. Wish I could do it in buses without getting dizzy tho!

Thank you all! Unfortunately early morning drawing is out of the question; I have to be up at 4:30 getting ready for work so being exhausted when I get home is understandable. I finally got a promotion to a better department, though, so I'm hoping I'll be a lot less tired and more ready for art when I'm home and during my breaks!

I managed some progress on that sketch from waaay up when I first made this thread: working on a grayscale painting of it. And did some more sketching during workbreaks.

Finished this bugger! Considering dusting off ZBrush and working on a model of it. Haven't drawn anything new otherwise.

Woah! Such an awesome creepy crawler :open_mouth:

Seeing a Zbrush version of this would be very intriguing!

Aw man I haven't been active at all, all my apologies for that. Working in a sheet metal factory is tiring and I often just forget to check out all the awesome forums out there!

I've been dipping back into 3d a little bit; it's slow going, I'm very rusty! But it's certainly a fun learning experience. So here's some of my latest endeavours in 3D and 2D: a fire worm and an alien buddy I'd like to translate into 3D sometime, as well.

Been working on that spindly legged weirdo, it ended up becoming more of some angelic abomination than what I was originally going for. Trying to get as much detail into it as i can.

I managed to get some practice in after work today and I'm very happy with it!
