Hello there, Im starting my journey again to learn how to draw, i'll be posting about my journey here , maybe some questions if any would be interested to answer

first , critique my assignment please, i need someone to tell me something is wrong

Hey there, welcome aboard! I’m snakker, local noob here to offer whatever support I can

For now looking good. There’s a little overshoot and slanted lines, a little bit of course corrections in the ellipses. Ofcourse control over the stylus is going to depend in what kind of tablet you use and how you have it set up but I will say it helps a lot to have whatever drawing surface you use right in front, slightly slanted or even upright and using your entire arm and shoulders to make the lines. Use your entire canvas and draw big. In my experience it makes it easier to learn and you can easily transfer your knowledge later to however you want to draw (even tiny)

That last color thing is super hard XD

Hey snekker, thank you for the response ! ,
my online friend drew me an illustration describing the shoulder movement as a suggestion to see if it'll fix my lines, im still learning the motion since its very much unlike any typical motion i do on my day to day life..

Also something i noticed is that drawing using a pen and paper was much easier than a stylus, my guess is just i haven't gotten used to smooth surfaces, i'll keep doing it every day and switch up the method every now and then until i find my sweet spot of achieving good lines and good circles.

Cool stuff, I mean, your lines aren’t that bad 😅 just something that gets better and better but yeah. What kind of stylus or tablet are you using?

Do keep in mind that rotating your tablet (if it is screenless) can be very confusing for your hand eye coordination

Clip studio paint’s tutorials website has some great pointers in how to get used to those

Also, I know what you mean about the screen being very slick, I use an ipad when on the move and at first it felt weird, but I think getting used to it was beneficial as the nib hasn’t worn down a bit and now it feels natural really
