Dragon lady Need help with picking colors

Hey everyone, here's a concept I'm working. I'm having trouble coming up with a color comp.

Here's the original character(1st version) from a painting I did a little over a year ago now. Posting this so you have an idea of what the original colors were.

Would love any kind of help. Also If you have any feedback on the design, let me know. Values and materials aren't done so I can make changes if needed.

Howdy, malcom.

First off Im diggin the design, while I don't have a specific colour comp in mind, my only suggestion would be to keep her outfit one colour, or two colours, e.g. her abdomen could be a light colour, like what you'd find on most reptiles, and one colour for the rest of her armour. Maybe you could add a trim colour to some of the individual armour pieces.

Thanks a lot it does. I'm thinking of maybe using a off white with blue or gold-ish trims If I go with your suggestion. Would have to try first of course.

I may be a little bit late but ill leave my opinion here anyways just in case,
the design of the character is just on point, very nice and sharp , and so arwe the colors, great choice, the only thing i would add is some "shiny" elements. so you create points of interest that can later help the eye explore the character
