Hey there!
I'm Elrodeon, this is my first post for quite a few many years. I've been doing art for the past 6 years. My progress has been a bit rocky, and my ability to draw consistently even more so. However, I've been in a pretty happy and fun spot with my art for the past year, and even more so the past few months.
With that said! I've started this post to start Marc's Learn To Draw Characters in 30 days study schedule!
I will try to post the art I do everyday, might miss a few here and there but here's my start.

I chose Loona from Helluva boss as my character to focus on. I just love the simple shapes, colours and expressive, fun design. The artwork on the left is the reference I use and mine is on the right as a copy I made of it, with no tracing or putting it over as instructed. I did however, make guidelines for the heads as you can see, to get the proportions right.
However, I do quite enjoy some more detail and marks on my own artwork than the original piece, so I will be focused on also taking Loona and drawing her in my own style as I move forward.
I initially struggled a little with getting the proportions set properly, which is why I ended up drawing the guidelines to count how many heads tall each body part was placed at, this helped TREMENDOUSLY.
So far, I had a lot of fun doing this which is really important to me, and I'm open to any critique anyone might have!

Day 2! Today was focused on drawing 2-3 headshots of Loona from different angles, I wanted to attempt a third and might try to do it tomorrow but I didn't have enough time for it today! This time, rather than also copying the style entirely I attempted to redraw it more in my own, I feel I struggled a little more with this than the study I did yesterday where it was a simple copy. I feel I especially didn't capture the expression as well on my piece on the left, in comparison to its original one. I'm uncertain if this is due to the style change, or something in the way I drew it haha. Regardless I had a lot of fun continuing to do these.
