As I've been away from this blog for what I deem far too long let me be the first to welcome you to episode two of Fakke's Bizarre (art) Adventure! Last we left off, our intrepid hero had posted some studies, his first ever post on cube brush (wow!) this time sadly It'll be much the same. I know what you're thinking "Isn't it a little too early in the series for filler?" and to that all I have to say is, hold on until the next exciting installment of our series and I'm certain that the wait will be well worth it. So without any more delay, let's jump right into the art shall we?
This one here was a portrait practice with reference, clocked in at about 4 hours. This was a case of me testing my weak points, I don't normally do portraits and I think that point shines through with this piece but you can't get any better without trying.
Much like the last piece this was conceived to strengthen up the weak points of my technique, namely my ability to render metals.
Last but certainly not least is my little Funbunn as the file is labeled. This one is a sort of hybrid between practice and a piece that I personally wanted to do, as I find my ability to render fur lacking as well as enjoy working with animals.
Once more if you've made it to this point in my needlessly long winded post I'd like to thank you for taking the time out of your day to view my work and would kindly ask that you leave any and all criticism as well as anything else wherever you see fit.
And I'll see you on the next exciting episode of Fakke's Bizarre (art) Adventure.
